RE: After the tanks are dumped..
Lots of good ideas in this group. Normally, I fill ths black water tank to at least 2/3 before flushing. After flushing, I will dump chemicals into the lack tank with 2-3 toilet bowls full of water.
I like the ideas that have been given with respect to the following:
1: Ice cubes (2)calgon (3) adding dawn to the tank. I do have a question about the bleach in the tank. Is there a possibility of the bleach damaging the rubber seals??? Just curious,

Budster, Of course I wanted to go the the Fool's rally. Unfortunately our daughter's prom came up as well as a project that Laura had to do involving her work at the Sheriff's Department. She wasn't able to get out of it. We were there in spirit after having consumed some of our own "spirit" while we sat around and wondered what every one was up to at the rally.
I'm sure everyone had a blast but we will be there in November. I can't wait to see you guys again.

Budster, I'm sorry to have to say that we're not going to be able to make it. Seems everything is happening at once. Our daughter has prom Saturday and our other daughter is moving back in with dear old Mam and Dad due to marital problems,and they have a 14 month old son that doesn't need to be around while they're arguing amongst themselves.
Anyway I haven't been able to post much this time around but we'll be thinking of all you Fools having a great time at the rally. Maybe R&R can bring me a jello shooter or two.
At least someone can now take our spot and have a great time with a supergreat group of people.
I hope you all have a blast.
Hopefully, we'll see you in OCtober.

To me, a non-refundable deposit always means trouble with the item being sold. The incident with the non-refundable deposit is very disturbing. I've never heard of a reputable
dealer pulling such a prank as to require you to do so. It's almost like he new he was selling you a problem unit and wanted to get at least something out of the deal. If you state has a BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair, you might want to pursue a claim with them. Since it's $5000, maybe you could try Judge Judy!!!! She loves cases like this. Good Luck!!

Alan....thanks for the info on the product. I will definitely try it. GSF obviously has nothing better to do with his time other than to criticize others. I hope that, after using the product, I will also be as enthusiastic about it as you are. Obviously you have a lot of appreciative individuals in this post that appreciate the information you have provided...myself included.

KC2KJ...can you please tell me what kind of MPG you get with your Seneca. I was recently looking at one at an RV show here in Sacramento. I drove it and the salesman said to only expect 5-6 mpg. I thought this was a bit strange considering I get 8mpg with a 34' class A Allegro powered by a Ford 460.

Pirate....I think what you are describing is a common practice by a company known as Amsoil. They are a synthetic lubricant company and I have read and been told about them doing this. It might be worth checking their website...Good Luck

RE: Bilsteins shocks are they worth it?
I've had Bilsteins for about 4 years now on a 34' Allegro Class A. The only shocks I can compare them to would be the factory installed shocks. I noticed a big difference in smoothing out the ride, not bouncing as much and quicker recovery. I wish I knew more about the Monroes but before I installed my Bilsteins, I talked with a lot of veteran RV'ers that had a lot more experience than my 10 years worth.

Hi all....We have cancelled our reservation for MMII as of today. We can't make it due to Laura having a work related project going on that week.
As a result........whoever needs a spot that hasn't been able to secure one before now........please contact "The Lurkers".
Sorry we can't make it but we will see you all at the next Fool's Rally next spring. Have fun...........I sure will miss those jello shooters........
